		Reconstruction of the St. Mary's Church in Chojna, Poland - formerly Königsberg / Neumark The St Mary's Church is a magnificent church in the little Polish town of Chojna, formerly Königsberg / Neumark. It was build in the 14th century, survived through the centuries until being destroyed at the end of World War II. It is currently being rebuild in a joint effort by Poles and Germans. The German association "Förderverein für den reconstruction der St. Mary's Church in Königsberg/Neumark e.V." operates this website to inform about the activities connected to this project. The website in English is still under construction, so please excuse if several pages are only presented in German. They will be translated consecutively.
